A motorcyclist is injured after an accident on Sunset Road near Green Valley Parkway just before noon on Saturday.
According to Metro police, a motorcycle rider was traveling east on Sunset when a minivan pulled out of a shopping center parking lot into the path of the motorcycle, causing the rider to collide with the minivan.
The motorcyclist was transported to Sunrise Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Police have ruled out speed, alcohol and drugs as a cause. The investigation is ongoing.
