LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A driver was cited after slamming into a bus stop in east Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Metro police reported the crash about 11:45 a.m. Thursday near Charleston and Lamb boulevards.
According to police, a vehicle struck a person who had been waiting at the stop in front of a McDonald's restaurant.
Metro said one person was transported to a local medical facility with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was cited for failure to maintain lane, police said.
Authorities shut down the eastbound lanes of Charleston near Lamb.
