
Organizers promise a stellar lineup as the 33rd Annual San Gennaro Feast kicks off next week.
This annual feast held in May and September is "A Love Affair with Italy" honoring the patron saint of Naples, Italy.
The feast will be held in the main parking lots at the Silverton Casino Hotel, Sept. 11-16.
Following tradition, the 33rd Annual San Gennaro Feast will again be flavored nightly with entertainment hosted by Las Vegas entertainment director and performer Tony Sacca, who has been part of San Gennaro feasts for more than 25 years.
Every day there is complimentary entertainment starting at 4 p.m. with traditional Italian folk music and at 8 p.m. Sacca will host, perform with the Saccettes and introduce a lineup of Las Vegas Strip entertainers on the main stage in the back area of the feast.
For the feast, Grand Marshals "Jersey Boys" from Paris Las Vegas and Grand Lady Denise Clemente will perform.
Each night the feast will close with top-rated bands: Déjà vu; David Perrico featuring Naomi Mauro; The NiteKings; Rock-It-Science; The Patty Janura Band; and Terry Forsythe's tribute to the Temptations and the Supremes.
In addition to entertainment, the San Gennaro Feast features more than 70 restaurant food booths offering traditional Italian fare and over 80 amusement rides plus a petting zoo, pony rides, midway games and specialty vendors.
Visitors pay $25 for unlimited rides on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and $30 for unlimited rides Friday, Saturday, Sunday for Butler Amusement Rides only.
