One person was killed while another person was injured after a rollover accident on Northshore Road at mile marker 24 near Lake Mead Sunday night.
According to Lake Mead Park Rangers, a Ford Mustang tried to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone resulting in the Mustang rolling over. Both the driver and passenger were trapped inside with critical injuries.
One of the two succumbed to injuries at the scene. The other victim was listed in critical condition at University Medical Center.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
