Friday shooting victim ID'd

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's office identified the man shot in the chest near Martin Luther King and W. Lake Mead boulevards on Friday night as Joel Levi, 33.

According to Metro police, someone called 911 at 9:17 p.m. reporting that a man had been shot at the 900 block of Doolittle Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Levi suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was transported to UMC Trauma where he succumbed to his injuries.

According to the coroner's office, Levi suffered multiple gun shots to the chest.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
