LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
KVVU FOX5 is the Las Vegas home of the new daytime talk show hosted by veteran journalist Katie Couric.
"Katie" is scheduled to debut on Monday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m., as part of FOX5's new afternoon lineup.
Producers of the show describe the daily talker as a "new beginning" for the longtime co-anchor of "Today" and the anchor of CBS Evening News.
"Katie," which is produced and filmed in New York City, will feature conversations with women who are marking transitions in their lives, just like Couric.
The debut will feature guest Jessica Simpson. Simpson, who is a new mom, will talk to Katie about her battle with weight and the challenge of juggling motherhood and her career.
The debut episode will also feature artist Sheryl Crow, who penned and performs the theme song to "Katie."
Future guests include celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Chelsea Handler and Heidi Klum.
Katie will also welcome guests who have topped news headlines. One of those people includes Aimee Copeland, who is the 24-year-old Georgia grad student who lost parts of limbs to a rare flesh-eating bacteria.
"Katie" precedes "Anderson LIVE" at 3 p.m., "The Dr. Oz Show" at 4 p.m. and FOX5 News at 5 p.m.
