Azenith Smith joined FOX5 News in June 2012.
Before heading to Las Vegas, Azenith was a reporter and fill-in anchor for KION-TV in Salinas/Monterey, California. During her time at KION she landed some of the station's most memorable exclusives, including the first interview with Giants fan, Bryan Stow's children about his notorious attack by two Dodgers fans after the season opener in 2011. She also covered a range of stories, from the wildfires in the Santa Cruz mountains to the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Prior to that, Azenith was an anchor and reporter for KCBY-TV in Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon and a freelance reporter for the Filipino Channel.
Azenith graduated with a Journalism degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. She's originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, growing up in Milpitas.
Azenith is thrilled to be reporting in one of the world's biggest tourist attractions. She's looking forward to exploring everything Las Vegas has to offer and serving the community.
