RENO, NV (FOX5) -
Authorities in Reno reopened a portion of downtown Friday after a mountain lion wandered near a casino.
Police said they were alerted of the wild feline about 5 a.m. Guests at the Harrah's casino reported the cat running in the plaza and trying to enter a building through a revolving door, according to police.
Wildlife officials were able to locate the cat and tranquilize it under an outdoor performance stage, police said.
Officials planned to release the feline into the wild.
There were no injuries reported.
