Wicked is set to make its debut at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts next week.
Performances of the production will run from Aug. 29 to Oct. 7.
Each night, Wicked will hold a lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats to each show.
People who come 2 1/2 hours before curtain, and present themselves at the Smith Center Box Office will have their names placed in a lottery drum.
Names will be drawn 30 minutes later, and those who are called will be able to purchase each orchestra seat for $25 cash.
The lottery is available only in person, at the box office with a limit of two tickets per person.
Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
Wicked is based on the 1995 best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire.
The musical is directed by award-winning director Joe Mantello.
