Flooding closes roads in Henderson

HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

Due to severe weather, several roads and intersections in the city of Henderson have been closed including:

Wigwam Parkway between Stephanie Street and Arroyo Grande Boulevard. All travel lanes in both directions are closed.
Sunridge Heights Parkway and Seven Hills Drive intersection
St. Rose Parkway and Seven Hills Drive intersection
Sunset Road and Arroyo Grande Boulevard intersection
Sunset Road and Patrick Lane intersection
Stephanie Street, between Sunset and Russell Roads

Motorists are advised to expect delays when traveling in the area.

The City of Henderson wants motorists to drive slowly, exercise caution and not drive through flooded roadways. Residents are recommended to stay inside and stay off the roadways if possible.
