Overnight closures planned all week for portion of I-15

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Crews will close I-15 each night this week between Cheyenne and Lake Mead. The road will close from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. each day through Friday, Aug. 24.

Officials say closures are necessary as crews erect steel girders and install deck forms.

The project is administered by the City of North Las Vegas. City officials are encouraging motorists to plan accordingly for the closures.
