LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Authorities said an 86-year-old Las Vegas woman succumbed to blunt force injuries of the head and chest after being struck by a car in a west end neighborhood.
Chong Kim died as a result of the accident on Aug. 10, the Clark County Coroner's office said Monday.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, a Mitsubishi being driven by 73-year-old Alejandra Javillonar was attempting to turn left from Napa Hills Drive onto Sutter Hills Avenue.
The vehicle struck Kim who was walking in the roadway, according to police.
Metro said Kim was transported to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation continues into the incident.
