LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The curtain will close on Crazy Horse Paris in Las Vegas this October. The announcement marks the end of an 11-year production at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. The show was formerly called "La Femme."
Crazy Horse produces three shows around the world.
"MGM Grand has been a wonderful partner to us for so many years; however, we both agreed it was time for a change," said Philippe Lhomme, president and CEO of the Crazy Horse Group. "The cabaret group is working on several new projects including the ever-evolving show at the historical cabaret in Paris"
Over the past 11 years the Crazy Horse Paris cast has performed more than 6,000 shows at MGM Grand, and has been host to many guest stars, most notably Dita Von Teese, Carmen Electra and Playboy's Playmate of the Year, Claire Sinclair.
"We have enjoyed a great partnership for many years. As we are currently in the process of a 360-degree property renovation which includes enhancements to the guest rooms, casino floor and restaurants, we jointly decided to allow each other to explore other avenues," said Scott Sibella, president and COO of MGM Grand.
The last performance will take place Monday, Oct. 1 at 10:30 p.m.
Crazy Horse Paris will offer a last chance two-for-one locals' special in appreciation of the support from the Las Vegas community over the past 11 years.
