Las Vegas' newest pro sports team is holding local try-outs this week.
The Legends will be Las Vegas' Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) franchise. The indoor soccer team will play its home games at Orleans Arena.
Team officials will scout local talent Monday, Aug. 20 and Tuesday Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. and again at noon on Saturday, Aug. 25. Tryouts are being held at Las Vegas Indoor Soccer, located at 1400 N. Rampart Blvd.
Team practices begin in October and the Legends' first preseason game happens Oct. 18.

The Legends are the 15th team to be added to the PASL. Legends' General Manager and President Meir Cohen introduced the team's coach, soccer player Greg Howes during a June press conference when the new team was announced.
