Toddler nearly drowns in hot tub

NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

A 1-year-old girl is recovering after nearly drowning in a hot tub Saturday around 5:30 p.m.

North Las Vegas police told FOX5 there was a party at a house near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Gowan when the toddler fell into a hot tub. She was discovered by an adult at the party and given CPR.

Emergency crews arrived on scene and took over CPR. The 1-year-old was breathing by the time she was transported to University Medical Center.

She is in good condition, according to North Las Vegas police.
