Community event focusing on child safety

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Parents and kids are invited to a day of entertainment at FamilyFest 2012.

The event is presented by Stroller Strides Las Vegas and it benefits Safe Kids Clark County.

Community partners will be on hand to give families resources on health, wellness, and safety initiatives.

FamilyFest is Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be giveaways and children's activities.

Safe Kids Clark County is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing injuries in children.

Stroller Strides offers moms a total body workout and provides activities for babies.
