
A production of the Tony Award nominated musical The Color Purple is coming to Las Vegas for a limited one week run to celebrate National Women's Equality Month.
Grammy Award Winner "Bubba" Knight and Gospel Singer Lecrecsia Campbell will join the cast for free shows at the West Las Vegas Theatre from August 22-26.
The Color Purple is the story of a woman named Celie, who finds the strength to concur over adversity and discover her unique voice in the world. The musical features a Grammy-nominated score featuring jazz, pop and blues.
The musical ran for a record-breaking two years at the Broadway Theatre in 2005.

Tickets are free and the show is open to the public. Due to the limited number of seats available, tickets will be issued 2 hours prior to each performance starting time at the theatre box office. Each guest can receive up to 2 tickets a piece.
Please note: due to the nature of show, children under the age of 13 will not be permitted in the theatre.
