Buffalo Bill's offering free rides for roller coaster day

PRIMM, NV (FOX5) -

The public is invited to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day with free rides on the Desperado roller coaster at Buffalo Bill's Resort and Casino Thursday.

Buffalo Bill's promises "heart-racing action" from 11:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. on August 16.

The Desperado coaster has been dubbed "Speed Demon" by Travel Channel for being one of fastest roller coasters on earth. Riders get a breathtaking view of the valley from 209 feet up, right before plunging down into a succession of twists, turns and unexpected surprises. The Desperado offers 2.43 minutes of pure heart pounding fun to help kickoff the weekend early, according to Buffalo Bill's.
