2 teens charged in deadly Vegas stabbing

Police have arrested two people suspected in a Vegas stabbing death Monday.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 2500 block of San Marcos Street at 12:13 p.m. Monday after report of a man found dead. When police arrived they found medical personnel attending to a victim with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

LVMPD Homicide Detectives were called the scene and initiated an investigation. As a result, detectives arrested 19-year-old Jose Martinez of Las Vegas and a 17-year-old juvenile in connection with this homicide. Both suspects have been charged with one count each of murder with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.

The victim's identity and exact cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
