
Local car dealerships are doing their part to make sure the community stays healthy.
Volvo of Las Vegas and Honda West are hosting their second annual Health, Fitness and Public Awareness Fair on Friday, Aug. 17 at both dealership locations.
The free event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The public is invited to visit with a more than 55 vendors and get free health screenings from eye exams or blood pressure checks.
Also the dealerships are working with three community charities, Camp Cartwheel that sends kids with cancer to a fun-filled camp, Alex's Lemonade Stand which raises money for cancer research and they've also adopted Rancho High School and are collecting new or gently used clothes to help its students.
