Blink-182 taking over Cosmopolitan next month

Three-piece punk rock band Blink-182 will take over the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas next month, the Strip property announced Tuesday.

The band comprised of Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker is scheduled to perform at the outdoor stage on Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m.

The seminal 1990's "new school punk" collective is best known for hit songs "What's My Age Again" and "All the Small Things." The group underwent a four-year hiatus from 2005 through 2009 before reuniting.

The band released the album "Neighborhoods" last year.

Blink-182's previous Las Vegas appearance was in October last year as part of the Honda Civic Tour. The show took place at the Red Rock Amphitheater.
