NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
Ward 2 residents can meet with City Councilwoman Pamela A. Goynes-Brown at a community meeting this week. The meeting will feature an update on Ward 2 events and the city's strategic plan for development and economic recovery.
The free event is open to all ages at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14.
The strategic plan was developed last fall with help from community members and business leaders.
Goynes-Brown's meeting is one of a series of community meetings hosted by each council member, ward by ward throughout the year. The meetings are among the items within the strategic plan intended to encourage community spirit, relationships and pride.
