NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
A person was hospitalized after being stabbed in a North Las Vegas neighborhood Monday morning.
NLV police reported the incident in the 700 block of Rio Royal Way near W. Tropical Parkway and Revere Street just after 4:15 a.m.
One person was transported to University Medical Center Trauma.
NLVPD Public Information Officer Chrissie Coon said the victim was expected to be released with non-life threatening injuries.
A suspect remained on the run following the incident. Police do not believe the stabbing was random.
