LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Grand theft auto and firearm charges are part of a grand jury indictment against a three time convicted felon Friday.

The charges against Vincent Debarr stem from an April incident in Las Vegas. Police say he conspired with others to steal firearms from a residence at 2490 N. Walnut.

In a May interview with police, Debarr admitted to entering a home with the intention of stealing firearms he knew were inside. He told police he was armed with a gun at the time. Debarr told police that his friend Autumn Connell knew about the weapons in the home, and told him the alarm code for the residence.

During an April interview with police, Connell told police Debarr physically threatened her , forcing her to give him the alarm code for the residence on Walnut. The police report indicates that Connell's grandparents lived at the home on Walnut. Connell told police she feared for her family's safety if she didn't comply with Debarr's demands.

Charges against Debarr include conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary while in possession of a firearm, grand larceny of firearm, possession of firearm by ex-felon, grand larceny auto and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Debarr is being held at the Clark County Correctional facility.
