LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is investigating an accident that left a pedestrian with critical injuries Friday.
Metro says it happened at the intersection of West Sutter Hills Avenue and North Napa Hills Drive at 7:55 a.m. Evidence on scene and witness statements indicate a 2002 Mitsubishi was turning left from westbound Napa Hills Drive to Sutter Hills Avenue when it hit a pedestrian walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver of the Mitsubishi remained at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigation Section.
