LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Clark County Coroner's office said the cause and manner of death of an infant found in a trash bin was undetermined.
The child known only as "Baby-Girl Robinson" was found dead at the Rancho Mesa apartment complex on Rancho Drive near Cheyenne Avenue on July 18.
The coroner's office could not determine the cause of death for the 28-day-old child, authorities said Friday.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, the child's mother, a juvenile, apparently hid the pregnancy from friends and family and gave birth at home. Police believe she hid the child's body in her residence until placing her in the trash bin.
Police have not made an official arrest in the case.
