A three-day music event made exclusively to the recording industry will now be open to the public in Las Vegas.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announced Thursday the upcoming Sunset Sessions event scheduled for Nov. 8-10.
Organizers said the event, which has ran for 15 years, exposes radio station programmers and other industry producers and agents to up-and-coming music acts.
The event has helped raise the visibility of artists like Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, The Black Keys and Colbie Caillat.
Las Vegas will host it for the first time.
Although the event is available to the public, tickets cannot be purchased. The Cosmopolitan said, instead, event-goers can secure tickets by committing their time or money to one of several nonprofit organizations, including Communities in Schools of Nevada, Three Square and Opportunity Village.
