LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Two Las Vegas nurses charged in connection with a Hepatitis C outbreak in 2007 rejected plea deals offered by prosecutors, court officials confirmed Thursday.
Ronald Lakeman and Keith Mathahs are accused for their role linked to an outbreak of the virus rooted in the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada.
About 50,000 patients were told they may have been affected by the outbreak stemming from the office owned by Dr. Depak Desai.
There was no word on the exact terms of the plea deal.
The Clark County District Attorney's office confirmed Lakeman and Mathahs' rejection of the deal.
