HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -

A 20-year-old Las Vegas man was identified as the motorcyclist killed in an accident that also involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Mitchell Plamp died Wednesday after a collision near Wigwam and Eastern avenues in Henderson.

According to police, a 19-year-old woman was driving southbound on Eastern when she was making a left turn onto Wigwam. She struck Plamp's motorcycle, which was heading northbound.

The collision slid across the intersection also striking a pedestrian who was standing near a light pole.

The collision also struck a power box knocking out lights to traffic signals.

Plamp was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe speeding from the motorcyclist was a factor in the accident.

The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver was not hurt.
