Car accident causes eight hour power outage in northeast - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

Approximately 200 remaining NV Energy customers had their power restored Saturday evening near Sloan Lane and Carey Avenue after an eight hour delay.
NV Energy told FOX5 a car hit a fuse cabinet, causing nearly 1,200 customers to lose power at around 1 p.m.
Crews were dispatched, restoring power to about 81 percent of those customers without power at 2:01 p.m., but nearly 200 customers remained without power until about 8:50 p.m.
