LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Caesars Palace is promising plenty of flavor with the launch of a $17 million buffet in September.
Caesars says the Bacchanal Buffet will represent the decadence of a Roman feast set within a 25,000 sq. ft. fine dining atmosphere. It's touted as a 21st century adaptation of a previous version of the Bacchanal at Caesars that closed in 2000.
"The Bacchanal Buffet design will set this restaurant apart from all other buffets in Las Vegas," said Gary Selesner, regional president of Caesars Palace, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and Caesars Entertainment's Las Vegas Operations. "The extraordinary modern and international design by world famous restaurant designer Super Potato will offer guests an eye-catching, fun and entertaining, contemporary dining experience with an incredible variety of quality selections cooked by talented chefs before the guests' eyes at nine show kitchens."
According to Caesars the buffet will serve over-the-top feast created by a team of master chefs, offering the most variety on the Las Vegas Strip. 9 globally inspired kitchens will all be housed under the same roof, serving more than 500 different recipes. The new facility will be able to accommodate 600 guests.
