LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A touring campaign aimed at registering and mobilizing Latino voters is scheduled to make a stop in Las Vegas.
The campaign called ¡Todos a Votar!, or Let's Vote, is expected to roll into the Rafael Rivera Community Center beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Organizers of the national campaign said they are trying to expand the voter outreach of Latino communities everywhere, especially with the general election coming this fall.
A number of prominent Latino groups including League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) and the National Council of La Raza are taking part in the tour. The campaign aims to register more than 650,000 Latino voters and mobilize more than 12 million to the polls.
The campaign stop is located at 2900 E. Stewart Avenue.
Nevada is the second state in the tour. The campaign began in California.
