AAA is donating cash to Nevada State Parks when visitors stop in for a free auto loan quote Wednesday.
Through the Summer Check-up program, AAA donates $5 to Nevada State Parks for every visitor that stops in for an auto loan quote on August 1. Visitors will also be given a AAA Summer Adventure Kit, part of AAA's Summer Road Trip program.
AAA Nevada is partnering with the Nevada Division of State Parks that plans, develops and maintains a system of parks and recreation areas. AAA says these areas receive more than 3.3 million visitors a year.
The Nevada Division of State Parks was established in 1963 by the Nevada Legislature to form a new state park agency within the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The division manages and maintains 24 parks, historic sites and recreation areas in Nevada.
To participate in the Summer Check-in program, visit AAA at 7501 W. Lake Mead Blvd. in Las Vegas anytime from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday. AAA emergency road service operators and battery service technicians will be on-site for free Road Trip diagnostic services.
