LAKE MOHAVE, NV (FOX5) -

A North Las Vegas man and his two-year-old son accidentally drowned when they fell off a raft at Lake Mohave last month, authorities said.

The Clark County Coroner's office released Wednesday the ruling on the deaths of Pablo Hernandez Cortez, 37, and his son Angel Gabriel Hernandez.

The two had been out on the water the morning of July 8 before they went under. The father and son were pulled from Six Mile Cove near Cottonwood Cove, National Park Service rangers said.

Rangers also noted the two were not wearing life preservers at the time.

There was no word on what led the two to fall off the raft.
