Brenna Schmidwebster
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
According to Metro police, Brenna Schmidwebster, 20, who hadn't been seen since last Friday, has been located and is safe.
Police said she was located by officers in Los Angeles, CA and described her disappearance as "apparently voluntary."
Schmidwebster disappeared after having last been seen by her roommates at their home near St. Rose and Gillespie.
"I don't know where she could have gone, what could have happened to her," Schmidwebster's roommate Chanel Pineda earlier in the week told FOX5. "No one has heard from her."
Pineda and Sasha Frost said their roommate Schmidwebster was in good spirits as they were getting ready for bed Friday night. When Schmidwebster didn't show up to work at Lucille's Smokehouse Saturday morning, that triggered a red flag.
Schmidwebster sent a text to Pineda saying she was going to work that day. Her phone has been off ever since. Her roommates don't think Schmidwebster ran off, since all that's missing from her bedroom is her makeup bag and phone charger.
"I don't know if she's being held against her will or what," said Frost. "I know in my heart she would contact us if she was able to."
The two filed a missing person's report Monday.
