HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -
The bank robber dubbed the Plaid Bandit has struck again.
The suspect robbed a U.S. Bank branch inside a Vons grocery store on E. Windmill Parkway last Thursday at about 12:40 p.m. The man – decked out in plaid and a New York Yankees baseball cap – approached a teller and handed her a note demanding cash.
The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money and took the note back from the teller.
Police said no weapon was shown during the robbery and no one was injured. This is the third time the so-called Plaid Bandit has struck in as many weeks.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6' and 180 pounds.
The same suspect is believed to have robbed the America First Credit Union branch at 370 N. Stephanie Street on July 13 and the U.S. Bank branch at 830 S. Boulder Highway inside a Smith's grocery store on July 18.
