LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Who's got the better defense? The faster forwards? How about a game-changing, dominant goalie? Our local police and firefighters will again battle it out on the ice.

On Friday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m., local police and firefighters will take to the ice against Charlotte-Mecklenburg North Carolina police for charity.

About 30 local officers and firefighters will lace up their skates at Fiesta Rancho Sobe Ice Arena.

The game will benefit the Rape Crisis Center and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Tickets are $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/pages/Las-Vegas-Police-Ice-Hockey-Team/205994669124.
