LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The organizers of last month's Electric Daisy Carnival announced four Las Vegas charities would be receiving donations raised from the music festival's ticket sales.

EDC producer Insomniac said the Clark County School-Community Partnership Program, Emergency Medicine Resident Research Fund, Speedway Children's Charity and the Injured Police Officers Fund will receive donations from the 2012 event's sales.

The promoter intends to donate $1 per ticket transaction and $10 per gust list attendee. The three-day dance music festival drew about 320,000 attendees from June 8-10.

Last year, EDC donated $75,000 to local organizations.

Insomniac is expected to announce a donation total in November.

National campaign Rock the Vote was also designated to receive donations.

The music festival is expected to return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway next year.
