LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
The Clark County Coroner's office identified an infant who was found in a trash bin at a northwest Las Vegas apartment complex as "Baby-Girl Robinson."
The coroner's office has yet to disclose the cause of death for the child. The coroner earlier reported the child had been alive for only 28 days.
The child was found by a custodial staff member just after 8 a.m. on July 18 at the Rancho Mesa apartment complex on Rancho Drive near Cheyenne Avenue, Metro police said.
A day after the child was found, police said they located the mother, a juvenile, who apparently hid the pregnancy from friends and family and gave birth at home.
Metro said it believes she hid the child's body in her residence until placing it in the trash bin.
No arrests have been made in the case.
