LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Gas prices in Las Vegas fell for another week.

According to AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, the average price of regular unleaded was at $3.36 a gallon on Monday.

The price was about two cents lower from a week ago. A month ago, Las Vegas drivers had to pay an average of $3.49 a gallon.

The current price of gas is actually 12 cents lower than the price a year before.

The average price of gas in the United States actually jumped one cent over the last week. The average price nationally was reported at $3.48 a gallon.

"While motorists in many regions saw gasoline prices stabilize over the last week, it's only a matter of time before last week's rise in wholesale prices translates to a continued march higher on the retail level," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. "The late week rally in stocks seemed to also fuel commodities higher, leading me to believe that pump prices will again pick up over the next week."
