Authorities released Monday the name of a North Las Vegas woman who died after a domestic stabbing over the weekend.

Rosaura Banuet, 44, died from multiple sharp force injuries as a result of a homicide, the Clark County Coroner's office said Monday.

North Las Vegas police found the woman inside a home in the 5100 block of Blue Rose Street, near Washburn Road and Lawrence Street, just after 11 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the woman's husband - 47-year-old Alberto Gutierrez – was being sought for questioning in the incident.

Officers reported Gutierrez leaving the home on foot after the stabbing.

Police said Gutierrez is 6'1", 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black shorts and black sandals.
