BOULDER CITY, NV (FOX5) -
A fire that erupted on a recreation vehicle late Sunday spread to roadside brush at Lake Mead.
Authorities reported the blaze on Lakeshore Road near Boulder Harbor in Boulder City just before 9:30 p.m.
According to rangers from the National Park Service, crews were battling flames from an RV carrying motorcycles when it rolled onto the side of the road and caused brush to catch fire.
Crews from the NPS and Henderson Fire Department were able to quickly put out the flames on the RV and the roadside brush. Authorities said only a couple hundred yards of brush burned.
There were no injuries reported. Lakeshore was briefly shut down to traffic after the blaze.
Authorities did not say what caused the RV to catch fire.
