LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
A female pedestrian was hit by a car Friday afternoon near Craig Road and Rancho Drive.
The victim, a 44-year-old woman, was taken to University Medical Center. The severity of her injuries is not known.
It's not known if the victim was in a crosswalk. Police said the driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene. Traffic is backed up in the area for several hours as police investigated.
