McCarran's June passenger total down slightly from 2011 - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU

McCarran International Airport's passenger total for the month of June is down just slightly from the year prior.
According to figures released Friday, the airport hosted 3,588,995 passengers in June of this year, down from 3,592,789 in 2011. That represents a drop of 0.1 percent.
The year-to-date total is a bit better. So far this year McCarran has seen 20,745,383 arriving and departing passengers, up from 20,351,594 this time last year. That's an increase of 1.9 percent.
Most of the major carriers at McCarran saw slight declines in June. However, Southwest posted a June increase of 0.6 percent and Las Vegas-based Allegiant saw a 17.4 percent leap.
