A man Metro police identified as a person of interest in a double shooting Friday has surrendered.

Metro said Troy White, 44, surrendered Friday afternoon to a Yavapai County Sheriff's deputy in Arizona.

A woman was killed and a man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition Friday following a shooting on Altamira Road, near Buffalo and Alta drives.

Las Vegas Metro police said a child reported the shooting to a neighbor just before noon. Officers arrived at the scene to find the child's mother and another man shot multiple times.

Police said the 29-year-old woman was first listed in critical condition but later succumbed to her injuries. The 28-year-old male victim is listed in stable condition.

Four other children were inside the house, according to police. Those children were unharmed.
