Open house to discuss plans for Southwest Ridge

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An open house Wednesday is slated to discuss plans for future parks and recreational amenities for the Southwest Ridge area.

Clark County Commission Chair Susan Brager and the County Comprehensive Planning Department are hosting the public event.

The Southwest Ridge is on the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley.

Future plans for the area may include three county recreation areas.

The open house is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., but people are encouraged to drop in at any time and share their input.

The event is at the Desert Breeze Community Center at 8275 Spring Mountain Road.
