WorldBed is set to donate up to 2,000 sleeping mats to comfort homeless men, women and children living in Las Vegas.
The international nonprofit and human welfare organization will give specifically designed ShelterBeds and WorldBed mats to homeless shelters from across town on Monday, July 30.
Distribution will take place at The Salvation Army Lied Social Services Campus Emergency Shelter at 6:30 a.m.
The mats will help provide relief for the estimated 44,000 homeless individuals in the Las Vegas valley.
The donations are part of an initiative called Project Beds for America.
The new WorldBed campaign seeks to distribute mattresses and WorldBed mats to homeless shelters around the country.
WorldBed is launching Project Beds for America in Las Vegas because it hosts the annual Home Furnishings Market held at the World Market Center each year.
