Sewer project affects traffic in northeast Vegas

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Sewer work in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood is expected to go on through at least August 10.

The Clark County Water Reclamation District began restricting lanes of Betty Lane between Harris and Washington avenues last week.

The sewer rehabilitation project at Betty Lane is scheduled from Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m.

Betty Lane will be closed during the work hours with residents given the only access to the road. Lane restrictions will be in place during non-work hours.

The District advised caution for motorists driving through the area.

The closure is part of an overall sewer project that will also affect Washington Avenue from Christy Lane and Betty and Christy between Owens Avenue and Washington.
