HENDERSON, NV (FOX5) -
The Clark County Coroner's office released Friday the name of a 64-year-old woman who was killed in a collision involving three vehicles at a Henderson intersection.
Diane Elizabeth Caffery sustained blunt force injuries to the head and chest in the accident, the coroner's office said.
According to Henderson police, Caffery was a back seat passenger of a Nissan that was stopped on Eastgate Road and Warm Springs Road on Wednesday night.
The Nissan failed to yield to a pick-up truck that was heading westbound on Warm Springs and, consequently, collided with the vehicle.
The Nissan then crashed into another vehicle that was stopped at the intersection.
Caffery, a Las Vegas resident, died at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Rose de Lima Campus. Two other passengers were transported to the hospital. One person sustained non-life threatening injuries while another was in critical condition.
