North Las Vegas police said they arrested a man who threatened two different motorists by gunpoint and got away with their vehicles.
Police announced the arrest of 18-year-old Javonn Caver on Friday.
Police said Caver stole a woman's vehicle at gunpoint while she was pumping gas at a filling station near Cheyenne Road and Civic Center Drive on July 8.
According to police, Caver demanded she get in the car. The woman ran away and the suspect fled in the vehicle.
After crashing the vehicle on the Cheyenne overpass, the man exited the car and attempted to stop oncoming vehicles.
The 18-year-old Caver ordered a female driver to exit her car at gunpoint. That woman ran away and the suspect fled with her car. The vehicle was later recovered without the suspect.
Police did not immediately say where he was located.
